Human Rights Solidarity(HRS) received an urgent appeal for two Ivorian children who were separated from their mother after they were rescued earlier this month by the Libyan Coast Guard. They were on rubber boats heading for European shores. Fatim Kouny, 9, and her 5-year-old brother, Abu Baker Kouny, are still in custody today, 20th<\/sup> June 2018, at the Anti-Illegal Immigration Agency (AIIA) \u201cAyn Zara\u201d shelter in Tripoli.<\/p>\n According to a post[i]<\/a> on the Facebook page of the \u201cAyn Zara\u201d shelter, the management of the informed the representatives of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and the Embassy of the State of Ivory Coast, but no one has followed the situation of the two children since that date, 13th<\/sup> June 2018.<\/p>\n HRS has received information that the mother of the two children is the in the AIIA \u201cSouq al-Khamees\u201d shelter, near al-Khums town, which is about 120 Km East of Tripoli.
